- JavaScript books that either I like, or students have recommended:
- "JavaScript: a Definitive Guide", by David Flanagan, O'Reilly.
The 5th Edition is due out in August/September 2006;
I used the 4th Edition (2001) as a reference in the meantime.
- "JavaScript Concepts and Techniques - Programming Interactive
Web Sites", by Tina Spain McDuffie, Franklin, Beedle and
Associates, 2003.
- Direct links to particularly useful reference pages from the
W3Schools JavaScript tutorial above
- A selection of readings on JavaScript Security
- Chapter on "JavaScript Security" in "JavaScript -
The Definitive Guide" (see above);
this is chapter 21 in the 4th edition, not sure what
chapter yet in the upcoming 5th edition
- Chapter on
JavaScript Security from "JavaScript: The Complete
Reference", second edition, by Thomas Powell and Fritz
Schneider, McGraw-Hill/Osborne, ISBN: 0072253576, posted at
