*   turn in any outstanding or improved homework pieces by 11:59 pm
    tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct 12th
    *   so example homework solutions can be posted by early WEDNESDAY,
        October 13th, for Exam 1 study purposes

*   Friday, October 15 - Exam 1! (on Canvas, during the lab time of
    3:00 - 4:50 pm)

*   Homework 6 will come out after Exam 1 - you'll receive class emails
    as parts of it become available

*   next week: start our intro to Java threads!
